Denys Drozdyuk
Co-Founder & Teacher
Denys Drozdyuk began his dance journey at the age of 4 in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from The Juilliard School in New York, attending on a full scholarship, and later obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Dance Education from New York University.

Denys is a 3-Time World Ballroom Dance Champion, 3-Time USA National Ballroom Dance Champion, 7-Time German National Ballroom Dance Champion, 3-Time Canadian National Ballroom Dance Champion, and a Blackpool Dance Festival Winner. He gained widespread recognition after winning "So You Think You Can Dance" in Canada. Together with his wife and dance partner, Antonina Skobina, Denys co-founded "DNA Ballroom," an internationally acclaimed duo that featured on NBC’s "World of Dance" during its first two seasons. In 2022, they made history on Canada's "Revolution," becoming the first ballroom dancers to reach the final.

Denys frequently performs as a Guest Artist with Stars of American Ballet and has graced stages at prestigious international ballet galas, festivals, and productions such as the Vail Dance Festival and Youth America Grand Prix Galas. His artistic contributions have been recognized with the NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship in Choreography, CUNY Dance Initiative Residency, and Green Box Arts Residency.

As an experienced choreographer and dance educator, Denys has taught workshops and master classes around the globe, including at The Juilliard School, ABT Studio Company, and New York University. He has choreographed for Juilliard, NBC’s "World of Dance," and various other projects. Currently, Denys serves as an Adjunct Professor of Dance at the University of Mount Saint Vincent and Wagner College in New York, where he teaches and mentors the next generation of dancers.Â
