Antonina Skobina

Co-Founder & Teacher

Antonina Skobina was born in Mariupol, Ukraine, and began her ballroom dance training at the age of seven, honing her skills across Ukraine, Germany, England, and the United States. In addition to her dance career, Antonina has a passion for acting and is a graduate of the New York Film Academy in New York.

Antonina is a 3-Time US National Ballroom Dance Champion, a Vice-World Ballroom Dance Champion, and a Blackpool Dance Festival winner. Together with her husband and dance partner, Denys Drozdyuk, she co-founded the acclaimed ballroom dance duo "DNA Ballroom." Under this banner, they represented ballroom dance on NBC’s hit show "World of Dance" for two seasons. Antonina also made history as the first ballroom dancer to reach the finals of the Canadian dance TV show "Revolution."

Antonina frequently performs as a Guest Artist with Stars of American Ballet and has appeared in prestigious international ballet galas, festivals, and productions, including the Vail Dance Festival and Youth America Grand Prix Galas. Her artistic achievements have been recognized with the NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship in Choreography, CUNY Dance Initiative Residency, and Green Box Arts Residency.

As a gifted ballroom dance teacher, Antonina has trained U.S. National Ballroom Dance Champions among children and youth. She also shares her expertise through masterclasses and workshops at renowned institutions such as The Juilliard School, ABT Studio Company, and Manhattan Youth Ballet. An accomplished choreographer, Antonina has created works for The Juilliard School, NBC’s "World of Dance," and numerous other projects.
